FACIAL, BODY, HAND AND FOOT SCRUBS

Facial and Body scrubs are a great way to exfoliate our skin and we do this to rid our body of dead skin cells – a whopping 30,000 to 40,000 of them per minute (or 8.8 pounds per year) from our epidermis. (Source: aad.org)

There are numerous manufacturers extolling the benefits of their natural, healthy, and vegan products that most often than not, come with a hefty price tag. To catch the attention of the health conscious shopper they throw in some tea tree, avocado, peppermint or perhaps lavender amongst others. Some focus on eco-friendly packaging while others will tell you their products include ‘natural preservatives’. In order for products to last on the shelf without discolouring, separating or smelling bad, need preservatives.

You can save money making your own scrubs as well as being super kind to your skin.
