Who ever said living a frugal life had to be boring?

With a little imagination and an eye on the bigger picture, we could just as easily live more with less.  Some of us live a frugal life out of necessity; others out of choice, and although at times it can be challenging it need not be boring.

One of my new year’s resolutions was to hand-make all my Christmas presents for 2015 – starting with my first (and favourite) gift:

The Upcyclded Rolled Paper picture frame, as featured above in Natalie’s Doodle Craft’s blog.  Involve the kids and make it a family project or just immerse yourself and zone out.

For a little inspiration to help you on your way, I put together a short 3-minute video clip – ‘Frugal can be Fun!’

This work has been produced as part of a course of study for educational purposes (Curtin University, WEB300) and the use of materials in it is done so under fair dealing for research and study. Once assessed this work will be removed from publication. Parts of this work that are not the author’s own may not be used without the copyright owner’s permission.

Why not share with us and others some of your frugal DIY links?
